After stepping away from the spotlight for a brief stint, R&B singer Ashanti is gearing up to make a comeback with the release of her new album “Declaration.”
The album will be her fourth solo LP and will be the follow-up to 2004’s “Concrete Rose.” The record is being propelled by the lead single “The Way I Love You,” which has been gaining in both radio and video airplay.
For this album Ashanti collaborated with an A-list group of producers, including Robin Thicke, Jermaine Dupri, LT Hutton, Babyface, and Pharrell Williams, among others.
In addition to dropping a new album, the multi-talented diva is also releasing a book entitled “Ashanti Style.” The book is said to be a life and style book aimed at the teenage market and is her second literary venture, following her book of poetry, “Foolish/Unfoolish: Reflections on Love.”
“Declaration” is set to arrive in stores on June 3rd.
