Here’s the latest instalment in the “unusual injuries” series. Werder Bremen player Marko Arnautovic injured himself while playing with his dog! His foot got stuck in the lawn and he twisted his knee. Now, he’s out for six weeks after tearing a ligament in his right knee.
Valencia FC player Ever Banega placed the accident bar pretty high a few weeks ago when his car rolled over his foot at a petrol station. He won’t be retuning to the pitch for another six months.
