Exciting news for Africa lovers in the US! “Arise” a monthly glossy magazine focuses on African fashion, art, pop culture, and lifestyle just released. Already available in the UK, South Africa and Nigeria, “Arise” is now available in the States as well.
But the monthly magazine brings more then African glitz and glamour. Arise is the first global style and culture magazine that is dedicated to African achievement, music, business and politics.
The US launch under the name “African Collective Fall” at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (March 13-20, 2009) in Bryant Park, NYC, was a great success.
Young, fresh and rising African designers showed their new collection in a three part show, followed by a party at the Plaza.
