Yet another football player has been mugged in Marseille. Young OM player Sénah Mango was a victim of armed robbery in a parking lot on Friday evening. This affair is reminiscent of the ‘home-jackings’ that targeted Lucho Gonzalez and Vitorino Hilton last year.
The two robbers apparently locked Sénah Mango in the trunk of his car while his girlfriend was in the backseat. The burglars then forced the couple to take them to their apartment where they stole a great number of the player’s possessions. Finally, the culprits accompanied the couple to an ATM and forced them to withdraw cash.
This type of attack is a regular occurrence in Marseille and might end up tarnishing the club’s image for good.
