Amy Winehouse

“Amy has been ordered to rest and is working with medical professionals to address her health,” says a member of her staff. The North American run with Paolo Nutini, which was supposed to begin Sept. 8 in Toronto, will likely be rescheduled in early 2008, but ticket holders can obtain refunds at points of purchase.

For now, Winehouse’s European and U.K. itinerary in October and November is still on the books and is slated to get underway Oct. 22 in Amsterdam.

The artist has been one of the biggest breakout successes of 2007 thanks to her album “Back to Black,” which has sold 1.027 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
