Muhammad Ali, the living legend of boxing celebrated his 70th birthday on Saturday during a charity gala in Las Vegas. A whole host of celebrities came for the occasion. David Beckham, Samuel L. Jackson and Kelly Rowland were among the 2,000 guests.
The entrance fee for this gala was $1,500 per head. This helped to raise funds for Ali’s foundation, which combats degenerative diseases.
Icing on the cake: Kelly Rowland and Stevie Wonder paid tribute to Whitney Houston by performing one of her hits, « Greatest Love of All », during the gala.
