50 Cent releases fifth album as a free download

50 Cent recently made news with the announcement that he earned $80 million from a sneaker deal with Reebok. Now he has apparently decided to give something back to his fans with the release of “5 (Murder by Numbers),” a free digital download which was originally intended to be his fifth studio album. The download dropped on July 6, 2012, which is also Curtis Jackson’s 37th birthday.

The G-Unit frontman recently wrote on Twitter “I’m listening to album 5 this joint banging. I’m giving it away as a birthday present to my self cool right?” Later he tweeted “You can’t buy album 5 it’s FREE street king immortal will be for sale…My official Interscope album is called STREET KING IMMORTAL due out in nov.”

The ten track LP is available as a free download on 50’s website.
