50 Cent Promises Meals for Two Million Children

50 Cent has promised to feed one starving child for every ‘like’ the Facebook page of his new energy drink “Street King” receives. The “Hustle With 50 Cent” initiative is in conjunction with the United Nations World Food Programme’s World Food Day, this year focused on fluctuating food prices.

The drive will not end after one week, Curtis Jackson will continue to donate one meal per ‘like’ the drink garners, as the event also serves as a segment of Fif’s campaign to feed one billion hungry children during the next half-decade. Over 120,000 people ‘liked’ the page by Wednesday morning, only two days after it’s inception.

If one million ‘likes’ are reached within a week, the G-Unit philanthropist will double the amount of meals distributed, totaling two million, he added “People who want to help fight hunger are not being asked to donate or pay anything to help. It’s real simple. All they have to do is ‘like’ the Street King page on Facebook and I will give a meal to a hungry kid.”
