50 Cent is putting the breaks on his first album in more than two years. The rapper recently took to Twitter expressing his unhappiness with his record label, Interscope Records, and letting his fans know that his album will be postponed until he and his label can work together. “Ok I tried to be cool with my record company. I went to the meeting talk to everyone and sh*t feels like there moving in slow motion,” the grammatically challenged rapper tweeted. “I’m sorry to announce I will not be releasing a new album this year if we don’t get on the same page.” He further expressed his dissatisfaction with Interscope by tweeting, “My whole career iv been doing sh*t and they have been playing catch up this is the last f*cking album THEY BETTER WAKE UP AND WORK.” About a month ago, Fifty tweeted that the album, rumored to be titled “Black Magic,” would be the 2011 version of his groundbreaking debut, 2003’s “Get Rich or Die Tryin.” With that goal in mind, Fifty let it be known that he will wait to get the finished album that he wants. “I worked really hard on this album,” he tweeted. “I’m not gonna let it come out like some bullsh*t.” But he’s not leaving his fans hanging. He just released “Outlaw,” a new song from the album. Check it out below. by Brooks Newkirk
