50 Cent will serve as a judge on YouTube’s upcoming contest, “The YouTube On the Rise Rap Edition.” According to sohh.com the competition will give aspiring rappers the opportunity to showcase their skills and the chance to receive a singles deal from G-Unit Records. Contestants should upload their videos onto YouTube.com from August 10 to August 17. 50 Cent along with producer Polow da Don and Common will select twenty finalists to ultimately be voted on by the YouTube community on August 29.
