Multi award winning super star, 2-Face Idibia was shot in Lagos yesterday evening by armed bandits. The incident occured between 9 and 10 p.m while he was driving home from the airport after arrival from London, where he recently bagged ‘Best African Act’ at the Mobo Awards.
He was then rushed to an undisclosed hospital in the Isolo area of Lagos, where he is still receiving treatment.
It would be recalled that gunmen suspected to be armed robbers attacked 2-Face Idibia in his Festac residence two years ago.
2 face idibia is often presented as the most succesful African artist of his generation, he sold over 5 million copies of his debut album “Face 2 Face”.
