In a recent interview with Hot97, T.I. announced that he didn’t want to work with Iggy Azalea anymore.
Are we witnessing the last day of Iggy Azalea’s rap career ? It looks like it. The Australian rapper was caught in the middle of a massive Twitter beef late last year that has left her with a few wounds and a tarnished image as an artist.
Now her mentor T.I, one the few rap artist who defended her when she was attacked by Azealia Banks and a few other people has decided to stop looking out for her. Why ? Because while Iggy was beefing with everybody, she came at the wrong person : rap legend Q-Tip. And that was enough for Tip. He stated that this was the breaking point for him :
“After the Q-Tip thing…after I smoothed it over. Everything was cool and then they came back and undid. It’s not that I got tired of cleaning it up….I’m loyal partner and If I rock with you I rock with you. Right or wrong. We’ll discuss that later in the car. But right now, I’ma block the bullets, but when I say go…go. Just go. Don’t stand around and talk while I’m blocking bullets. I just feel “they” [Iggy’s team] needed some time to adjust.”
Times are hard for Iggy but hopefully her wedding with Nick Young will cheer her up.
