British pop group Coldplay was the main headliner at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show but Beyoncé and Bruno Mars literally stole the show !
The 50th Super Bowl took place on February, 7th and like every year it is one of the most-watched programs in American TV. What draws most people to watch is not only the football game but mostly the Halftime Show which features performance from some of the greatest stars in the music industry.
This year, Coldplay was headlining the show accompanied by Beyoncé and Bruno Mars. The British group started performing a medley of their most famous hits before Bruno Mars hit the stage with an army of dancers to sing his 2015-hit-single “Uptown Funk”. Right afterwards, Beyoncé made her triumphant entrance with “Formation” the new single she unexpectedly debuted the day before the game. The singer was wearing a Michael Jackson inspired outfit and had her back up singers dressed up to pay homage to the Black Panther Party.
Beyoncé and her army of dancers then left the field to join the stage where they had a mind blowing dance battle with Bruno Mars’ crew, all of them dressed in black leather and gold. Chris Martin then join the duo for a spectacular ending.
