To promote his North American tour coming up this fall, Belgian pop artist Stromae performed his hit single “Papaoutai” in the streets of New York.
Stromae is known for being a weirdo. He’s also known for being one of the most successful artists in Europe right now. For the latest installment of his popular ‘Lessons’ videos, the musician has been filmed performing his hit Papaoutai in different areas in New York City : Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Williamsburg… In the video, the pop artist confuses pedestrians with his weird dance moves and colorful outfit.
Other “Lessons” videos will be filmed in cities around the Unites States where Stromae is performing including Washington, Boston and Chicago. The tour will come to an end on Oct. 1 in New York as Stromae will headline a special show with Janelle Monae at Madison Square Garden.
