In African Hip hop Stogie T is a legend and bonified O.G. Acclaimed with Recording credits ranging from Styles P, Immortal Technique, Saul Williams, battles on KOTD and tours across 5 continents his global status is not be taken lightly.
He boasts vast experience in the culture, which has seen him win lyricist of the year twice at the South African Hip Hop Awards and a monumental Sway in the Morning freestyle in 2018 – which cemented his status as a supreme lyricists of our generation.
He started his stellar career with his world travelling live outfit Tumi and the volume and his various Solo projects which included a project with French production team Chinese Man and the Australian Hip Hop pioneer label Nuffsaid Records, Stogie’s outlook on life and his passion for hip hop has always been intercontinental.
Showcasing his award winning catalogue, the legendary Stogie T will be live at Gorgeous George in Cape Town this Saturday with his band, which proudly features Shane Cooper on bass, Bonj on vocals, Clement Carr on samples and keys; Bokani Dyer on Rhodes and Justin Badenhorst on Drums.
