On this new gospel project, Snoop Dogg has reportedly collaborated with The Clark Sisters and Faith Evans among others.
Although he’s known for being one of the architects of gangsta rap, West Coast very own Snoop Dogg has been showing he’s a true lover of music of all genres lately. Wether it is reggae with his Snoop Lion moniker or neo-funk with his long-time collaborator Pharrell Williams, the artist, who is also a massive Trump opponent, has never been afraid to try new things. So it was no surprise when he announced he was working on a gospel album last year.
Bible of Love will be out March 16
This week, the rap legend released four songs and a video off his upcoming Bible of Love, set for release on March 16. On his official YouTube channel, he shared “Blesses and Highly Favored” featuring The Clark Sister, “You” featuring Tye Tribbett, “Blessing Me Again” with Rance Allen and “Saved” alongside Faith Evans.
The Doggfather also released the video for “Words Are Few”, the first official single from the album which was released back in September. In the visuals, Snoop Dogg is kneeling and praying in an empty church with singer B Slade and a dancing choir by his side.
