The 2018 World Cup is kicking off in a few days now and supporters from many countries are prepping for the big event, including local musicians. Indeed, while the FIFA and Coca-Cola have released official World Cup anthems, some artists have chosen to rep’ their own country with unofficial songs.
It is the case for Olamide and Phyno who recently released “Road 2 Russia (Dem Go Hear Am)”, a catchy track produced by Pheelz. On the track, Phyno name-drops Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi Victor Moses and Mikel Obi while Olamide sings “Dem go chop am today/Even if I dey sleep oh, I remember where the post dey” on the encouraging chorus.
