Nigerian artists Wizkid and Davido won big alongside Yemi Alade, Burna Boy and Flavour.
The African Music Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) took place on Oct 7, in Dallas celebrating the best African music and artists right now.
Among the big winners of this 5th edition, Fally Ipupa, Wizkid, and Toofan who all snagged 2 awards each.
Song of The Year and Video of The Year for “Soco“, Bast Male Central Africa and Artist of The Year for Dicaps and Best African Group and Best Francophone for the Togolese duo. Fally Ipupa also won the Leadership in Music award.
Davido and Nasty C won some of the most prestigious prizes including Best Male West Africa (Davido) and Best Male Artist South Africa (Nasty C).
