The super talented dj and producer Karyendasoul had much to celebrate after such a short spell in his music career. After releasing his first project, Imizamo in 2021, with hit singles such as iMali alongside Zakes Bantwini and Nana Atta, Karyendasoul has had much to celebrate. The Hit single reached platinum status. After much travelling and showing the world his talent, he finally got the opportunity to celebrate his success in from of his loved ones.
Universal Music in partnership with Mayonie Productions celebrated this achievement by handing over Karyendasoul’s Platinum plaques in front of his mother and aunt which he loves so dearly. This moment was a special one, as he had the senior members of UMG and Mayonie Production show much support and love. An emotional one for Karyendasoul as he was lost for words. The rising star saw his mother share words of affirmation, love and happiness over the success.
Since the release of Imizamo, we saw the world dancing to imali all year round. This saw imali peak within the top 10 in the Radio charts. We sure there is more to come from him as this is only the beginning of greater heights. A big congratulation to Karyendasoul. This may be the first but, we are certainly sure not the last.
Imali is an infectious single that speaks to the continued pursuit of wealth. It’s seeped in spirituality through the rousing layered harmonies by Nana Atta and Zakes Banwtini. From the first beat, the song’s rousing and memorable tune permeates through all the noise.
