Kim Kardashian‘s fiancé is getting sued by Ricky Spencer, who accuse the American rapper of sampling the 1971 song in his hit single “Bound 2”. The ex child star filed a suit in Manhattan Supreme Court demanding that West either pay him for the misappropriated use of the sample or cease and desist.
The “Ha, ha, honey” bridge is clearly recognizable in both songs. The “Pandora Twins Plus One” lead singer affirms he has the copyright while Kanye West affirms he acquired the right to the tune properly.
So who’s right, who’s wrong?
