AmaPiano star Kabza De Small has topped Spotify’s list of the most streamed South African artists in the country.
Spotify recently released the data of the most streamed artists, songs and albums for 2019 in South Africa and AmaPiano frontrunner Kabza De Small tops the list.
The “Nana Thula” hit maker is the most streamed South African artist on Spotify and is followed closely by his fellow collaborator DJ Maphorisa and rap star Nasty-C who snatches the third place. This data is a great illustration of the success of AmaPiano, a genre that dominated South African dance floors in 2019.
Meanwhile, first place for the most-streamed South African female artists in South Africa was taken by Shekhinah, followed by Lady Zamar and Karen Zoid. Prince Kaybee snatch most streamed album of the year with Re Mmino.
