If history remembers the legendary diss between JAY Z and Nas, things could have been different. Invited on the podcast A Waste of Time with ItsTheReal , DJ Clark Kent who was responsible for few tracks on Jigga’s first album Reasonable Doubt, told Bee’s husband was about to diss Tupac juste before he died. The record has never been released due to Pac’s death. However, Jay still decided to perform it at the Apollo to a stunned crowd.
DJ Clark Kent said : “Jay did a record going at Pac but right as it was about to go out, son died. We performed it though. We was at the Apollo. It was…scathing. Crowds was like, oh shit.”
The song was a response to “Bomb First”, the intro of last album 2Pac recorded when he was alive The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. In this intro, a person reads a press statement saying New York rappers are mad at Tupac? Jay-Z name is quoted several time in the intro and in the song.
