Drake’s “One Dance” is number one in the United States

This is the first time in his career that Drake reaches the number one position of Billboard Hot 100 thanks to his hit “One Dance”.
Drake released his fourth album Views on April 29, 2016, and this has delighted his fans who can now enjoy no fewer than twenty songs. A few days ago, the rapper released a double single, “Pop Style”/”One Dance” featuring Nigerian Wizkid and British singer Kyla. The hit has quickly become one of the audience’s favorite songs. It even allowed Drake to have his first song ranked at the top of the charts in the United States!
It wasn’t the case for his hit “Hotline Bling” which only peaked at number 2 of the Billboard Hot 100 but now he can relax. What’s more, Views is one of the most sold albums in one week with one million copies. He did even better than Beyoncé and her album Lemonade which was sold at slightly less than 700,000 copies over the same period!
On top of that, Views was streamed 245 million times whereas Justin Bieber held the last record with his 2015 album Purpose, played 100 million times. And the other big news is that Drake is now one of 2016 richest hip hop artists! With a 60 million dollars net worth, he now rubs shoulders with Birdman, Jay-Z and Diddy and has kicked out 50 Cent from The Forbes Five, a ranking of the wealthiest hip-hop artists.

It seems like Drake is slowly but surely making his name in the game…
