TIME magazine has just released the names of all 59 people that could eventually be named TIME Person of the Year 2015.
The last few weeks of the 2015 are approaching and with the end of year comes the usual “best of” lists from various publications – TIME is one of them. The prestigious magazine has already published its list of Most influential teenagers and is now looking for the Person of the Year.
Among the 59 people chosen by the magazine that could eventually get this title, you will find political leaders (Hollande, Obama, Trump), religious leader (pope Francis), reality TV stars (Kim Kardashian), actors (Amy Schumer, Viola Davis) but also a bunch of artists and athletes. Indeed, people will be able to vote for their favourite rappers Drake and Nicki Minaj, singers Adele and Taylor Swift or even tennis champion Serena Williams.
Since 1927, the year this tradition started, an artist has never received the title so if one them is selected it will be a first!
