As he is currently promoting his the biopic “Straight Outta Compton“, former N.W.A member Ice Cube decided to pass by the Power 99 radio and make a sensational revelation.
Indeed, according to Cube, Dr Dre is gonna drop a new album on August 1st!
Ice Cube: “Dre is dropping an album inspired by the Compton movie. He’s dropping something on August 1.” He added: “It’s mega, it’s Dr Dre, it’s what everybody’s been waiting for,” he said. “It’s definitely a dope record.”
But it won’t be the eagerly waited “DETOX“, as Dr Dre allegedly changed the name of his new solo album. Nevertheless, nobody knows the title choosen by the rapper-producer.
According to Rolling Stone, Dre totally produced “Straight Outta Compton“’s original soundtrack and it is the project he is about to drop soon.
