Beyoncé dethrones Taylor Swift as Forbes’ highest paid woman in music

Forbes has crowned Beyoncé the highest-paid woman in the music industry in 2017 and she basically owes it to her last album Lemonade.

We call her queen for a reason. According to Forbes, Beyoncé has earned a colossal $105 million pre-tax  from june 2016 to june 2017, making her the highest paid women in music this year. Her last studio album Lemonade and the very lucrative Formation Tour were the main sources of revenue for the singer who spent the last few months pampering her twins Sir & Rumi.

Taylor Swift dethroned

Queen Bey is followed by Adele who earned $69 million thanks to her first proper tour since 2011. Taylor Swift, Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez complete the top five highest female earners this year. Rihanna sits at number 7 with $36 million earnings.
