For the video of his FIFA World Cup anthem “Hello World”, Aloe Blacc took it to the Motor City, Detroit, and delivers an uplifting message of hope in a city that is crumbling. The video was shot in one day by Shane Drake and shows Aloe Blacc singing in a rundown hallway and abandoned church while citizens who are judged by their look are willing to shatter stereotypes.
