14 years! Shenmue fans have been waiting for the third episode of the video game series Shenmue for 14 years. Well, their prayers have just been answered, as Sony during its E3 conference just revealed that Shenmue III will be under development soon. Yet, the firm needed founds to do it.
Thus, Sony launched in live at their conference for the E3 in Los Angeles, the Shenmue III Kickstarter page, in order to get money and develop the game. It was immediately a huge success as they reached the minimum amount they needed (2 million dollars) in only 9 hours!
