New designers, pastel prints and bold designs pretty much sums up London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 18.
But if we start off that way, we’re overlooking the snazzy presentations and eccentric runway shows if we must say so ourselves. In this Brexit doomed era that we’re currently in, standing out and reclaiming your identity has never been so important, as the British version of the biggest annual fashion event took place, individuality was definitely a recurring theme.

Our first day at London Fashion Week kicked off with the punk icon Pam Hogg at the Freemason’s’ Hall in Central London. The rock’n’roll designer debuted her latest collection called ‘Innocence’ but we can confirm that the collection was quite the opposite! No exaggeration, the mesh bodysuits, pom poms and colour-blocked jumpsuits with her signature daring designs.
We particularly loved the fashion presentation by EDDA, the new emerging Fashion Scout Merit Award winner. Fresh out of London College of Fashion, she’s definitely one to look out for, advocated by The New York Times. She’s already captured us with her bold monochrome hand printed designs and fur detail. The ambitious designer combined classic staple pieces and modernity as this collection was inspired by the womenswear from the 1950s.
The Legendary Burberry ‘Nova’ Check looks like it’s back for good..the ‘chav’ panic over counterfeit Burberry products is officially over then? Burberry is known for it’s unexpected surprises, and the biggest surprise was seeing the legendary Burberry caps back in. The luxury designer debuted its FW17 collection rather than the SS18 like everybody else! The collection is now available to shop online.
