Huge event this winter season, Men’s fashion week has just blown all their old trends away and replaced them with brand new ones in the biggest fashion capitals of the world. From NYC to Paris, stopping by London and Milan, what are the new trends to look out for ? From the most desirable to the most intriguing ones, here is a little overview of the 10 fashion trends for A/W 2017.

1/ The Oversize sleeves

Trend number 1 : OVERSIZE SLEEVES ! On the opening day of London Collections: Men, Xander Zhou one-upped Vetements’ extra-large hoodies by dropping some extra, extra large hoodies with extra, extra, extra-large sleeves. We could see them branded by Rick Owens, but this season even Dsquared2 is joining in on the fun !

It sure is something that inspired all designers at Dolce&Gabbana this season. It all started with foxes on sweaters, then parrots on headwear and now leopards on the backs of models. And latest trend : the polar bear backpack. Could this be a hint to save this poor adorable species from extinction ? If so, we say YES !

3/ Half BCBG / Half Bad Boy

And what if the secret to looking chic was to be a bad boy at the same time? A trend spotted at Valentino’s runway, here’s how to obtain the total look: Wear a a BCBG outfit with a pair of sneakers and a cap and the trick is done !

4/ The strappy trend !

For a couple of seasons now, details are the thing that tend to give the outfit that extra something we often look for, and straps are that accessory. On Moncler Gamme Bleu’s runway, the brand opted for a more original version and paired their models with strings and laces from head to toe. We love this result that gave an artistic yet practical look!

5/ Embroidery

No doubt about it, Olivier Rousteing masters the art of making one look noble chic yet monarch like. His secret? Embroidery ! A trend we can surely wear eyes closed but paired of course with sober basics.

7/ The winter look

We applaud this cold winter look from Kenzo. For once, designers  thought of your little frozen hands ! But that sweater dress, we’re still a little sceptical.
