Johannesburg- Trace Studios is proud to announce their partnership with award winning writer,producer and director, Stefan Enslin to produce two Factual Series.
With a career spanning over 15 years, Stefan Enslin has written and produced multiple films. In 2013, he wrote a novel titled “Verskietende” (Shooting Star), which he later developed into a film, winning him the Audience Favorite Film Award at the Silwerskerm Festival. His recent work includes a trio of documentaries: ‘Against All Odds: The Alwyn Uys Story, “Unstoppable: The Rebecca Nagel Story”, and “War Dogs and I”. In 2022, his production company won the award for the most creative production studio in South Africa at the African Excellence Awards.
Stefan Enslin says that with his collaboration with Trace Studios, he hopes to produce quality content that will take the industry to a new level.
“Factual content is a genre that has long been overlooked. But it is content that has the same, if not more, impact as any other film. In my experience doing factual content I have seen how this can really transform, impact and grip people. With my collaboration with Trace Studios I hope to achieve new heights with factual content. Gripping factual content that has the ability to win awards at prestigious film festivals, be recognised for its outstanding execution and may I dare say; be considered for an Academy Award.”, said Enslin.
The collaboration is a significant step for Trace Studios as it continues to expand its unscripted slate and provide audiences all around the world with quality content.
