DJ Capital started his entertainment journey as a resident mix-show DJ on the radio station, Umhlobo Wenene FM.

 

DJ Capital joined The Repertoires dance crew as their official DJ in 2012.

 

DJ Capital was a cast member on the hit TV show ‘Running with the Reps’ on the South African youth channel VUZU.

 

In July 2015, DJ Capital embarked on a European tour that saw him headlining shows in London & Moscow.

 

DJ Capital has shared the same stage with some of the world’s finest acts, including Deadmau5 & AfroJack, multi-platinum selling R&B legend Usher, DJ Drama & Eminem’s former DJ, DJ Green Lantern.

Juice WRLD passed away six days after suffering a seizure at Chicago’s Midway Airport in December 2019.

 

Juice WRLD was born on December 2, 1998, in Chicago.

 

His parents got divorced when he was only three years old,  Juice WRLD and his brother were raised by his mother.

 

Juice WRLD’s mother did not allow him to listen to rap in her household while he was growing up.

 

Before hitting the radar in the music industry, Juice was also a loyal fan of West Coast rap legend, Tupac Shakur.

 

YOUNG THUG

 

Young Thug was born Jeffrey Williams in 1992, in Atlanta and is the second youngest of 11 children.

His birth name is Lesego Nkaiseng.

 

 DJ Speedsta attended Vaalpark Articon high school. Later, he moved to Johannesburg, intending to pursue a business degree but did not graduate.

 

 DJ Speedsta is 29 years old as of May 2021. The hip hop spin master celebrated his birthday on the 4th of May.

 

He grew up listening to the country’s well-renowned DJs and musicians such as DJ Euphonik and Fresha.

 

YUNG SWISS

 

Yung Swiss’s real name is Steve Dang.

 

He was born on May 29, 1994.

 

Yung Swiss was born in Cameroon but was raised in South Africa.

 

Yung Swiss grew up in Rosettenville, Johannesburg.

 

In early 2015, Swiss released his first single with South African rap sensation Reason, titled ‘I Love It’. The single made its debut on South Africa’s leading youth radio station, Yfm.

SZA has worked with big names in the industry, including Beyoncé, Solange Knowles as well as Nicki Minaj and Maroon 5.

Toosii’s first debut was on Spinrilla in November 2016 with the EP ‘Blessings’.

 

Toosii is from Syracuse, New York but moved to North Carolina when he was 13 years old.

 

Toosii’s real name is Nau’Jour Grainger. 

 

He was inspired to try music with the influence of both his brother and father. He was homeless before his career began to develop.

 

He got his big break in 2019 with the release of the track “Red Lights”, which went on to accrue millions of streams.

 

COI LERAY

 

Coi Leray began posting music to SoundCloud, releasing her breakout single “Huddy” and her debut mixtape ‘Everythingcoz’ in 2018.

 

After signing a record deal with 1801 Records and Republic Records, she released her second mixtape, EC2, in 2019, and her debut extended play, Now or Never, in 2020.

 

In 2021, her single “No More Parties” gave Leray her first Billboard Hot 100 entry after peaking in the top 40 and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

 

She was born May 11, 1997, in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Hackensack, New Jersey.

 

She started making music at age 14. At age 16, Leray dropped out of high school and started working in sales.

Mooski’s real name is Darien Hinton and he grew up in Alabama.

 

He is best known for his song “Track Star”, which is going viral on TikTok with a whopping 555.7 million views and growing.

 

Mooski joined the Marines after completing his high school education. He served there for two terms before getting into the music world.

 

Mooski has a self-titled YouTube channel, which he opened on October 13, 2020. He uploaded his first song on YouTube, titled “Peak’N”.

 

His first song also features other rappers such as UnderGod Gwalla and StunnaC4. It helped recognize him as a rising rapper.
