Leonardo Officially Leaves PSG

PSG manager Leonardo has officially resigned this morning. The former soccer star was already suspended for 12 month for physically assaulting a referee at the end of a game. His original sentence suspended him for 9 month but after he disagreed with the court’s decision, the soccer comission added an extra 3 month as he didn’t even bother to present himself at the trial revision.

The news came on twitter through BeinSport, a channel that is also owned by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. The club expressed his disapointement but is happy to look back at a successful year thanks to Leonardo who brought a excellent team together and permitted Paris to win the Division one trophy this year, and compete at a european level.

Paris Saint germain released a press statement, wishing him all the best for the future and thanking him for the great work he has done during his time with the club.
